The Dutch company Four Winds Policedog Center has reached a settlement with Hamzeh Hashem, a Palestinian youngster who was bitten by two attack dogs in 2014, when he was still underaged; the dogs had been purchased from the company by the Israeli army. The Israeli army had set the dogs on Hashem because it claimed that he had thrown stones at Israeli soldiers. Israeli soldiers made a video of the attack that later appeared on the internet. Among other things, one can hear the solidiers urging the dogs to further attack Hashem. Hashem suffered both physical and psychological damage as a result of the attack.

Hashem was represented by lawyers Liesbeth Zegveld and Lisa Komp.
